Hey you! So this year, for me, it's been all about happiness, passion, and positivity. While at times it's been hard to maintain that attitude, especially when life gets a little crazy at times, I had a thought. What if... I share things that I enjoy doing that fill my soul up with cheerful abundance. All the little things around me in my everyday life that bring delight and radiance into my life. I'm a huge lover of lists and I've often heard that talking about the things that bring you joy is a very mentally healthy thing to do. With that said, I've decided to start a new series on my blog where I list and talk about little things that bring me happiness. My goal is to publish a "Happy Little Things" writing prompt once a week, so here goes nothing!
Yes, yes. I am constantly posting about my husband and I guess it can get a little annoying to some people. However, I share a lot about him because he IS happiness, to me. Talking about him always brings a huge smile to my face. He is the most kind, loving, understanding man and brings so much joy and happiness to my life.
I feel as though there's just so much small talk going on now a days and people hiding behind their phones that it really makes me feel good when I can truly connect with someone and share a deep conversation. Have you ever just sat down during a conversation and thought to yourself how awesome it is to be having such an intricate and intriguing conversation. Of course I have those days where I rather not talk much but there are days where I crave meaningful conversations. Connecting is everything!
Lately I've become obsessed with capturing images to document moments, sceneries and feelings. It is honestly something that fills me up with so much fulfillment and happiness. My dad has always been into photography, in fact he is a bad ass artist. Growing up he always told me to take photography classes because he knew I would enjoy it. I never listened and here I am many years later falling deeply in love with taking pictures. How funny is that! Better late than never huh. While I just started this new hobby of mine, I know I have a TON of adventures and opportunities ahead of me.
