To My Beautiful Sensitive Souls

To My Beautiful Sensitive Souls

To my sensitive souls out there...nowadays being described as sensitive is often not a compliment. There are people out there that make sensitivity seem as if it is so wrong. They make us feel as if it is a weakness and a flaw. How many times have I cried and then feel silly for doing so because I feel weak. How many times have I felt hurt because I always give too much and receive so little. How many times have I felt like I love too much. Trust me you are not the only one. But I want you to know that feeling is NOT wrong. It is the beauty of being human. It’s time to redefine sensitivity to be a sign of strength. It's time to start living more in tune with your soul. It takes strength to be in touch with your emotions. It takes courage to be vulnerable. It takes a person who undeniably knows themselves to be delicate, gentle and compassionate.

So to my beautiful sensitive souls out there...

It’s time to appreciate the power of sensitivity and all the insight it gives you. It’s time to appreciate your caring soul. Show your true self to the world, and never stop to hesitate. Own it. Let it be the most beautiful thing about you. You have a sensitive soul. You are a sensitive soul. Instead of feeling like being emotional is a flaw, condition yourself to believe that it is probably the most beautiful thing a human can have. Those people that don't value how beautifully sensitive you are aren't worth your time. LOVE above all else. Love exists in the middle of your crazy life. In the midst of the betrayals, the wrongness and the cruelty, love exists. Love is here. In you. Through you. You are the love the world is seeking. You are the love you are seeking. You are love!

Cheers to all my beautiful sensitive souls out there! You are my favorite!

Much love, Laura
